NSAI would like to advise of the publication of S.R. 66:2015+A1:2026
This Standard Recommendation provides guidance on wastewater treatment products in conformance with the EN 12566 series of standards. In particular, it provides recommendations on:
- Selection of wastewater treatment plants to treat domestic wastewater for applications for populations up to 50 PE in areas without a public sewer.
- Minimum performance criteria for wastewater treatment plants that have been tested to I.S. EN 12566 - Parts 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7.
- Scaling parameters and sludge storage capacity necessary to achieve the minimum performance recommended for wastewater treatment plants that have been scaled up from a tested plant.
S.R. 66:2015 has been updated with the following amendments:
- Extension of scope to include guidance on the minimum performance of treatment plants that tested in accordance to I.S. EN 12566-7:2013.
- Inclusion of influent and effluent characteristics for tertiary treatment units in accordance with I.S. EN 12566-7:2013.
