The National Standards Authority of Ireland wishes to announce the launch of a systematic review period for the following Irish Standards in line with NSAI procedures; I.S. 357:2007 - Playing field equipment - Goals – Code of practice on the procurement, installation, maintenance inspection and storage.
Public Consultaion Period: 12th September - 9th October
Scope of the Standard
The standard gives guidance for the procurement, installation, maintenance, storage and inspection of goals, including uprights, crossbar, together with any other parts such as the net, net support posts, sockets and anchoring systems. It is applicable to goals that are used for recreational play, training and competitions. It is not applicable to goals that are classed as toys.
