Brexit Events in 2019
The NSAI Brexit Information Series is a combination of both general and targeted sectoral briefings in sectors such as food, construction and medical devices. These information sessions are for any organisation – public, private or not-for-profit – who may be impacted by Brexit regarding the future application of ‘CE’ marking of their products or products in their supply chain, the application of European standards and certification. The briefings are intended to provide advice and information on how Brexit is likely to impact on standards and certification and what organisations can do to mitigate these risks.
As part of the Getting Ireland Brexit Ready campaign, the NSAI and the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government held two Brexit information seminars for the construction industry in Dublin and Cork on the 12th and 13th of March 2019. The briefings were aimed at contractors, organisations involved in the construction supply chain, national bodies and local bodies involved in market surveillance and authorised verifiers. The seminars informed attendees on the impact of Brexit on the sector and what they can do to mitigate these risks.
We also held events in Monaghan, Cavan, Sligo, Belfast, Dublin and Galway. Slides from these events are available below by clicking the "Previous Events" tab.
