NSAI are delighted to announce two education workshops on cleanrooms new cleanroom standards, in conjunction with the Irish Cleanroom society.
Training event 1 – March 4th:
A new 2019 revision of I.S. EN ISO 14644-3 – Cleanroom and associated controlled environments – Part 3 Test methods has been published by NSAI – see www.standards.ie for more information. This standard provides test methods in support of the operation of cleanrooms and clean zones to meet air classifications, cleanliness attributes and related controlled conditions.
The workshop on the new revision will address key changes and assess the impact of such changes. Breakout sessions will look at practical application and discuss the impact on Testing SOP's and other quality documentation.

Training event 2 – March 25th:
I.S. EN ISO 14644016:2019 – Cleanrooms and associated controlled environments – Part 16: Energy efficiency in cleanrooms and separative devices is a newly developed standard which was finalised in 2019 and is available on the NSAI published standard catalogue – www.standards.ie. This standard gives guidance and recommendations for optimizing energy usage and maintaining energy efficiency in new and existing cleanrooms.
