Registrations are now being accepted for the European Security Research event – The Next Wave at
This event is designed for high engagement and links up European security research with the community of First Responders in emergency and crisis management, cyber-security, experts in Big Data, international organisations, academic, standardisation and policy makers.
The event includes an incredible line up of talented speakers from the European Commission, Alcatel-Lucent, Siemens, Grant Thornton, TSSG research group in Waterford Institute of Technology, TNO, Centre for Secure Information Technologies and the University of Stuttgart amongst others. It will feature high-level plenary debates for each theme as well as breakout sessions for network interactions and follow up discussions.
Exhibitions will also take place throughout the conference from Day 1 through to Day 3.

ESR Event Themes
To be held over 3 days, from the 4th – 6th November 2015, in Malahide Co. Dublin, Ireland, the main conference on Day 1 stages four challenging themes on- Strengthening Crisis and Emergency Management Response

Theatre Sessions
During the afternoon of Day 1 (4th November, 2015), parallel stream presentation sessions will occur in the Theatre room, with Zoltán Székely, senior police officer and assistant lecturer at the Hungarian National University of Public Service, commencing with his presentation on the ‘End-User role for Law Enforcement Agencies - on the Hungarian National Police’.Opportunities exist for the submission of presentations related to any of the themes mentioned above – details can be found on the web site and inquiries sent to theatre@ESRDublin2015.eu. Networking Activities
Day’s 2 and 3 activities (i.e. 5th and 6th November) are aimed at further strengthening European project cross-fertilisation activities. Engaging World Café sessions will be held on Day 2 and will feature an informal networking environment where small groups will have an open forum to discuss problem statements, contribute new ideas, learn from other delegates and plot out collective patterns to address prevalent problems.Active sponsored European research and development projects include:
