NSAI has launched the public consultation for the review of I.S. 6:2004 – Concrete sewer pipes & I.S. 420:2004 – Pre-cast concrete manholes

Public consultation period: From 14/02/2022 until 14/03/2022, inclusive.

The scope of the standards:

These standards are used in conjunction with I.S. EN 1916 for precast concrete pipes and I.S. EN 1917 for precast concrete manholes. They provide complementary requirements for unreinforced and reinforced concrete pipes and manholes which are mainly intended to be used for the conveyance of sewage, rainwater and surface water under gravity in Ireland.
