I.S. 201-4 Cables for Fixed Wiring
The revised draft Irish Standard is now available and open to public comment.
I.S. 201:2001 POLYVINYL CHLORIDE INSULATED CABLES OF RATED VOLTAGES UP TO AND INCLUDING 450/750V: PART 4: SHEATHED CABLES FOR FIXED WIRING
The main changes to the standard involve the resizing and insulating of the earth conductors in cables to be used for fixed wiring. The draft was prepared by ETCI Technical Committee 14 "Electric Cables"
The revision was carried out following a request from ETCI Technical Committee 2 to increase the size and insulate earth conductors for fixed wiring cables.
