The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), with support from the Slovak Metrological Institute (SMU), will host an online webinar on Wednesday, 25 February 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 CET. The event will take place via Microsoft Teams and will bring participants together for a focused morning session of presentations and discussion.
Objective of the A2TM Project
The project will enhance air temperature metrology by developing a highly controlled mobile sub-chamber system (−40 °C to 80 °C) with a target uncertainty of 15 mK. It will control key environmental factors and establish comprehensive calibration and uncertainty evaluation procedures, including interlaboratory comparisons to harmonise practices. The initiative also promotes knowledge transfer and long-term adoption of improved traceability across NMIs/DIs, laboratories, industry, manufacturers, and regulators in Europe.
Objective of workshop
NSAI with support from SMU is hosting an online workshop for the A2TM consortium and stakeholders to share current findings and gather community feedback.
