Requirements for the Accreditation of Calibration Laboratories

NSAI/NML has been central to the development of a new European Guideline on Temperature Mapping and were co-authors of this latest document.

The purpose of this EURAMET-guideline is to outline the basic technical requirements in the accreditation process for those laboratories undertaking the calibration of climatic chambers and to harmonize among the european accreditation bodies the accreditation of calibration laboratories for the calibration of climatic chambers.
The new Calibration Guide EURAMET/cg/20/v.01 "Calibration of Climatic Chambers, Requirements for the Accreditation of Calibration Laboratories" is now available for download. The guide is available on the EURAMET website.

This document gives references to other documents that would be quite useful when temperature mapping and calibrating enclosures. Of particular interest to hospitals and blood banks is the mapping of fridges at 4oC for the storage of blood.
