ET 105:2011 “National Rules for Electrical Installations in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres- Third Edition” is Now Withdrawn

NSAI wishes to advise that ET 105:2011 “National Rules for Electrical Installations in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres – Third edition” has now officially been withdrawn (but is still available for sale for consultation) due to its outdated content and references. We would advise anyone with an interest in this area to refer instead to the current series of Irish Standards I.S. EN 60079. The following parts are of particular importance:

Part 14: Electrical installations design, selection and erection

Part 17: Electrical installations inspection and maintenance

Part 19: Equipment repair, overhaul and reclamation
