On Wednesday 14th October, NSAI is inviting members of the Munster business community to join quality experts from across Ireland and the UK at the ‘Quality in Ireland’ conference at the Charleville Park Hotel, Co. Cork.

The theme of this year’s event, which is run in association with Quality Ireland, is ‘Quality, it’s in the way we do things’.  Coinciding with World Standards Day 2015, the conference will offer insights into quality updates from the perspectives of organisations from SMEs to large multinationals.  Industry experts from ESB international, the University of Limerick, Boston Scientific Cork and Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland are just some of the speakers presenting at the Cork event.

Maurice Buckley, CEO of the NSAI said:
“The annual ‘Quality in Ireland’ conference is an important date in NSAI’s calendar.  The event showcases the calibre of business quality that exists in Ireland today, with representatives attending from organisations of all sizes across all sectors.  This is an excellent opportunity for local Munster-based businesses to gain useful insights into best practices at a national and international level.”

Experts in healthcare, retail, non-government organisations and state bodies will present at the conference.  Important quality considerations will be discussed on the day including developing a quality culture in an organisation, integrating management system standards and how we meet the quality needs in community, voluntary and private enterprises.

Dermot O’Donnell, Quality Ireland Chairperson said:
“The mission of Quality Ireland is to promote and foster a culture of quality in Ireland to make life better for individuals, communities, organisations and society in general.  Quality Ireland visualises an Ireland where we as a nation enjoy an equal reputation for quality standards as exists for example, within our food sector. Events, such as this conference, take us one step closer to making that vision a reality by creating a space where those interested in quality can begin the dialogue across all sectors.”

Speaker at the event, Catherine Duffy, President of Limerick Chamber and Senior Vice President/General Manager of Northern Trust, said:
“A key focus for Limerick Chamber is to create the best possible environment for Munster businesses to succeed through sharing knowledge and expertise.  The NSAI ‘Quality in Ireland’ event will offer organisations throughout Munster the opportunity to improve their quality practices and standards among industry leaders in Ireland.  I would urge local businesses to come along in order to raise their quality standards to the next level. ”
