NSAI has launched the public consultation for the draft S.R.54:2014/prA2:202x, Code of practice for the energy efficient retrofit of dwellings (Amendment 2)
Public consultation period: From 27/1/2022 until 10/3/2022, inclusive.
The scope of the draft S.R.54:2014/prA2:202x, Code of practice for the energy efficient retrofit of dwellings (Amendment 2) is the revision of Case Studies A,B and C (Sections 5.5.1 – 5.5.4).
This draft amendment revises information provided on the existing case studies A, B, and C (sections 5.5.1 to 5.5.4 of the document) for retrofitting of dwellings, including recalculation of the energy performance ratings using the Dwelling Energy Assessment Procedure (DEAP), in line with the Major Renovations requirement of Building Regulations and to support Climate Action Plan targets of 500,000 retrofits to B2.
