• S.R. 70:201X - Timber trussed rafters

This Standard Recommendation specifies requirements for materials, fabrication and the use of timber trussed rafters with punched metal plate fasteners for roofs.
 

• S.R. 71:201X - Timber in construction – Span tables and guidance

The span tables in this Standard Recommendation give maximum spans for the following solid softwood structural members in buildings.
 

• I.S. 127:201X - Structural timber – Visual strength grading – Sawn softwoods with rectangular cross-section

This Irish Standard specifies a method of visually strength grading structural softwood timber of rectangular cross-sections shaped by sawing, planing or other methods. It defines requirements for strength grading, measurement of characteristics, specifies marking requirements and identifies requirements for the control and supervision of strength grading operations.
