Standards can be purchased online. Guest users are welcome to browse our fully updated standards catalogue. This includes all:

  • Indigenous Irish Standards (I.S.)
  • Adopted European Standards (I.S. EN; I.S. EN ISO/IEC)
  • Adopted International Standards (I.S. ISO/IEC).
The catalogue is a fully searchable database which allows you to:

Registration allows you access to the SAIG standards database. This vast electronic library stores over 600,000 standards, published by 250 major standards authorities from across the globe. REGISTRATION IS FREE.

If you intend to regularly purchase standards online, we recommend that you take a few seconds to register.

Registration also allows you to plan your orders online. When you register, you will be set up so you can instantly download almost all Irish Standards and tens of thousands of others.

After you’ve ordered, you can then take advantage of our Tailored Updating Service.

You can view the full text of Irish Standards by appointment. These include adoptions of European Standards (EN) and International Standards (ISO).

Simply arrange to call in at our Head Office between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday (we close for lunch from 1 to 2pm).
