If you are an architect, building designer, structural engineer or  roofer then you need to know about the recently published revision to Code of Practice for Slating and Tiling, S.R. 82:2017.

This document replaces and supersedes I.C.P. 2:2002 and makes changes to the exposure maps and requirements for battens, among other amendments.

NSAI Issues Four-step Safety Check for Buying Carbon Monoxide Alarms

The 6th annual Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week took place last week September 25th to October 1st.

To raise awareness for this week NSAI issued a four-step safety checklist, which people should consult when buying a CO detector and also warned homeowners to take preventative action to avoid the creation of conditions where carbon monoxide can form in high levels.
