How do I make an appeal against a certification decision?

NSAI inspection and certification procedures are rigorous, fair and transparent. As Ireland's official standards body, we pride ourselves on our professional certification services.

Inevitably some organizations fail to meet the essential demands of our certification procedures. Here, we clarify what rights you have in the event of a dispute over a certification decision.

If you believe that a certification decision is unsound in any way, you have the right to appeal. Simply write to NSAI's Director of Certification at NSAI, 1 Swift Square, Northwood, Santry, Dublin 9, Ireland.

How do I register a Complaint?

If you feel that any aspect of NSAI's service is unsatisfactory you can then raise the matter with either the auditor's operations manager or use our dedicated email address where you can give us your feedback on any issue relating to service quality: feedback@nsai.ie
