NSAI is responsible for a number of schemes which enhance the safety and environmental aspects of vehicles on the road in Ireland and in Europe.
Through our Legal Metrology Service NSAI is also responsible for the verification of taxi meters in Ireland, via our Authorized Verifier Scheme, ensuring accuracy for both the taxi service provider and the consumer.
NSAI provide access to and sell a range of standards in the area of transport, automotive, rail and road transportation from, intelligent transport systems to tanks for transport of dangerous goods.
