In addition to the vast range of environmental standards available, NSAI, and other certification bodies, offer Certification to Energy Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) standards which have been developed as tools to allow the management of organisations to better identify, manage and control their activities that can impact the environment.

Within the construction sector, NSAI Agrement schemes include an independent Window Energy Performance (WEP) Certification scheme for the Irish consumer market, cavity wall insulation and blown loft insulation.

New Registration Scheme for Testers involved in the Air Tightness Testing of Domestic dwellings which will help Developers/Householders demonstrate compliance with higher levels of Conservation of Fuel and Energy required under the Building Regulations.
