ISO/TC37 Annual Meeting 2010

Maps and directions

Airport

Dublin Airport (DUB) is located about 14 Kilometres north of Dublin City Centre, and about 4 Kilometres from the NSAI offices where the annual meeting will take place. There is no rail service to and from the airport so you must take either a bus or a taxi.

You will find buses to your left as you emerge from the airport. Aircoach will bring you to the city centre (for €7) but does not stop in Santry (where NSAI and the Crowne Plaza hotel are located). The Crowne Plaza and Holiday Express hotels operate an airport shuttle bus service (see below). Dublin Bus no. 41 serves the airport, Santry and the city centre.

Taxis

You will find a taxi rank to your right as you emerge from the airport. Taxis are not cheap in Dublin - the fare to the city centre is about €25, depending on the number of people and items of luggage. It should cost about €15 to Santry.

Crowne Plaza / Holiday Express Airport Shuttle Bus

For delegates staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel or Express Holiday Inn, the hotels operates a shared courtesy coach to and from Dublin Airport.

Dublin Bus services

The following Dublin Buses serve the City Centre and all stop close to Northwood where the NSAI and the Crowne Plaza and Express Holiday Inn hotels are located.

For further information about public transport in Dublin, see General Information about Ireland and Dublin.
