Revocation of Irish Standards (1961 to 1998)
Irish standards based on adopted European Standards (and international standards) published between 1961 and 1998 have been rendered beyond the scope of the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961, the Science and Technology Act, 1978 and the National Standards Authority of Ireland Act, 1996. These standards (where they have been revised) are hereby revoked. You will find a list of their
replacement standards here.
